Poet, novelist, translator and English teacher, John Ackerson earned a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of Oregon and a Maîtrise de langues vivantes étrangères, mention anglais from the University of Strasbourg. His work has appeared in numerous university literary reviews in the United States. He is a certified English teacher in the French Education Nationale.
