By: 48 Film Project 48 Film Project, the Original Ultimate Global Online Film Competition, is an avant-garde festival that has attracted filmmakers all over the planet. Teams from over 130 cities on six continents have already participated in this global event. This year, teams in cities all over the world will be competing for local and international prizes. Thousands will join in teams to create short films of four to seven minutes over the course of 48 hours’ time. The filmmaking encompasses everything from script, from writing and casting to filming and post-production. COVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES: Pre-Competition Coverage: Interviews with local producers, competitors, and co-founders. Arrange an interview with the Illinois Producer, Jonathan Robinson, with the co-founders of the 48 Go Green and the Original 48 Film Project, Francesco Vitali and Christos Siametis, or with past participants who can describe the project and the challenge involved. Follow a team to watch the process: We have teams that are willing to be followed and interviewed if you would like to watch the pitfalls, exhilaration, and hard work that goes into the process. More about Executive Producer Fancesco Vitali: Francesco Vitali is the mastermind and founder of Creamy White Inc. and the 48 Projects Inc. He is also the Executive Producer of 48 FILM PROJECT and 48 MUSIC PROJECT, as well all series of the 48 Project concepts. After completing his Master’s Degree in Communication Studies and Marketing, he began his early career as a journalist in Athens, Greece. Later he moved to the USA and studied acting and directing in New York. He was at one time Artistic Director of the historic Tamarind Theatre in Los Angeles. More about Executive Producer Chris Siametis: Christos Siametis is the cofounder of Creamy White Inc. and the Executive Producer of 48 FILM PROJECT and 48 MUSIC PROJECT. He project managed the 48 Hour Film Project for Greece and Cyprus from 2008 to 2010. After graduating in Business Administration, Christos produced and promoted consumer brands and individual artists, as well as singers, actors, directors and models. He is also Executive Producer of the line of 48 Projects. More about Producer Jonathan Robinson: Jonathan Robinson is a mad cap producer, designer, writer, typographer, the creative director of DEN, and in search of EVEN more to get his grubby mits on. A Chicago native who loves to learn anything and everything, to further his ninja skills.
