AAIM Employers’ Association Names New CFO

ST. LOUIS - July 15, 2014 - PRLog -- AAIM Employers’ Association, the Midwest’s largest association of employers with 1,600 member companies, announces the recent hire of Morita Lawson as Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Lawson joins executive leadership team and will lead the finance and accounting operation from its headquarters in St. Louis, Mo.

Lawson brings nearly 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, along with a proven track record of leading companies through periods of significant growth. Lawson served as Assistant Controller of the Consumer Segment & Financial Accounting Systems of Springleaf Financial Service, Inc. in Evansville, Ind., actively participating in the establishment and completion of five private consumer loan securitization transactions totaling $1.9B.  In addition, she served as Vice President & Senior Executive of The ROHO Group, Inc. in Belleville, Ill. from 2008-2012, where she led the business through the challenges of rapid growth. Under Lawson’s leadership, The ROHO Group, Inc. promoted a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values lifetime learning and a commitment to quality.

Lawson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of Texas and Cameron University. She also received her Master’s in Specialized Taxation from Fontbonne University.  She has been a member of various industry organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
