Follow on Google News | ![]() Joseph Federico Announces 2014/2015 Renewal of NJMET, Inc.’s ITAR RegistrationJoseph Federico, NJMET Director of Operations, announced that NJMET, Inc., has renewed its registration statement with the Compliance and Registration Division of The Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance, including their ITAR registration.
By: NJMET “We are honored to continue to empower NJMET senior officials to sign the registration statement and transmission letters under code: M18392,” he continued. ITAR Section 122.5 requires companies such as NJMET, Inc. to maintain records concerning the registration, manufacturing, acquisition, and disposition of defense articles; the provision of defense services; and information on political contributions, fees or commissions furnished or obtained as required by ITAR Part 130. These records must be available at all times for inspection and copying. To maintain these records, managers, supervisors and employees need appropriate training on AECA and ITAR requirements and understand the individual and organizational ramifications for failure to comply.
