June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- London – 12 June 2014 TheQ camera is today announcing a fashion collaboration with luxury menswear brand Ada + Nik. The partnership takes root at London Collections: Men where Ada + Nik will show their SS15 collection this Sunday, 15th June, at the St Martins Lane Hotel in London. The rebellious British design duo will work with theQ camera exclusively in the Coffee Black colour to complement their signature dark matter aesthetic.

To usher in the new collection, the Ada + Nik label has also created an art house film to showcase the collection under the same name, ‘Carpe Noctem’. The unconventional 5-minute cinematic short is directed by award winning filmmaker Oz Thakkar and stars Oliver Walker (Atlantis) and Elarica Gallacher (Harry Potter) alongside theQ camera.

“The Coffee Black camera, with its vintage allure and quirky design, fits naturally with our noir and aesthetic”, said Nik Thakkar, creative director of Ada + Nik. “Geometrically cut dark matter separates along with swimwear and sunglasses round out our latest collection. As theQ camera is waterproof, it gives you the opportunity to explore Ada + Nik through an entirely new dimension,” he continued.

“We love the interplay between shadow and light and the ethereal feel this collection conjures up. The Coffee Black camera, one of our top selling colours, highlights the juxtaposition and interplay between shadow and light as used by Ada + Nik in their film and in this clothing range,” commented Q Lifestyle co-founder and creative chief Joe Lesina. “The Carpe Noctem film captures the moody illuminating look of analogue photography, and it’s great to have this cinematic approach as part of our collaboration.”

Photographers including Oz Thakkar, Miles Aldridge, Alistair Guy, Fiona Garden, Michelle Bobb-Parris and Marc West will document the Ada + Nik SS15 show including behind the scenes, exclusive looks and after show reportage photography using theQ camera.

TheQ camera will be available for purchase in the UK from 26th June UK for 150 GBP including VAT + 1 month free data upload to theQ LAB.
