Needham Bank Announces Promotions

NEEDHAM, Mass. - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- April 28, 2014 – In light of their recent significant growth, Needham Bank today announced a number of organizational changes designed to maximize some of their exceptional talent and help position the company for continued growth.

Following on the heels of last week’s announcement that bank President Mark Whalen will be succeeding Jack McGeorge as Chief Executive Officer in May, 2015 additional organizational changes are as follows:

Effective May, 2015, Paul Totino, currently an Executive Vice President, will become President.
Effective May, 2015, Barry Whittaker, currently an Executive Vice President, will become Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer.

In addition, the Bank today announced the following promotions effective immediately:

James Gordon, to Senior Vice President, Technology
Eric Morse, to Senior Vice President,  Marketing and Retail Banking
Larry Pitman, toSenior Vice President and Team Leader, Commercial  Lending
Danielle Walsh, to Senior Vice President and Treasurer

In another significant executive move, Needham Bank is pleased to announce that Tony Battista will be joining the Executive Management Team as an Executive Vice President on May 5^th. Mr. Battista, a CPA, has more than 30 years of banking experience which includes audit oversight and enterprise-wide risk management.

“Tony is a great addition to an already strong management team,” said McGeorge. “He has a wealth of experience and will provide us with real depth and expertise in the areas of accounting, investments, risk management and IT security.”
