Area Governor, Debra M. Hollinrake says, “I couldn’t have been more thrilled to see Patty win the Best Speaker award at the Area level. As Area Governor and Contest Co-Chair, my authority was only to run the contest so the judging would be impartial. You never know how the judges will vote, and it was an absolute delight to announce Patty LaSorsa from my own club as International Speech Area Contest Winner.” Patty’s next challenge will be at the Division level contest on Tuesday, April 29th, at 6:00 pm in East Hanover, New Jersey. The Division winner will next compete at the District level on May 18th at the Toastmasters Conference at the Morristown Hyatt in Morristown, NJ.
