PRLog -- Houston, TX, April 17, 2014- Becoming One Community is sponsoring the “Working through the No’s” event on May 19, 2014. This free event is from 10 am to 4 pm at the Third Ward Multi-Service Center on 3611 Ennis Street in Houston, Texas 77004. This workshop will provide skills and tips to be used in searching for a job as an ex-offender.
“Education leads to empowerment”
says the founder of Becoming One Community, James E Davis Jr. This workshop is the first part of the ex-offender reentry program offered by Becoming One Community. The topics covered are as follows: discovery of a person’s skills; completing an application, creating a resume, how to properly interview, dressing for the interview, etc.
