Houston, TX, July 9, 2015-Becoming One Community is sponsoring the “Back2Work”
Career Fair for Ex-Offenders on July 29, 2015. Being held at the West End Multi-Service Community Center on 170 Heights Boulevard in Houston, Texas; “Back2Work”
is a free networking event for ex-offenders who are reentering society. This event which is being held from 10 am to 2 pm, will provide opportunities for ex-offenders to network with employers who believe in providing second chances, and various other resource providers within the community.
“We are about opening doors to second chances for ex-offenders within our community” says the founder of Becoming One Community, James E Davis Jr. This networking event is an extension of Becoming One Community Foundation’s job readiness training program. During this empowering event, the following employers and community resource providers will be there in attendance: City of Houston Public Works and Engineering department; SER: Jobs for Progress (Serving for Success); Manhattan Construction;
Bee Busy, Inc; Career Gear Houston; Dress for Success; and Texas Workforce Commission.
