EWGA’s new book Teeing Up For Success

DALLAS - April 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association) has blown the lid off a well-kept secret. In the new book, Teeing Up for Success, the EWGA has compiled stories of insight and inspiration from extraordinary women on how they have used the game of golf to achieve their goals.  For Senior Vice President of Member Experience at ClubCorp, Kathy O’Neal, golf has been a personal and professional passion.

Kathy’s Chapter entitled “Building Relationships and Enriching Lives with Golf” speaks to her reasons for campaigning to get more women involved in the game of golf.  Having been named one of the “Most Prominent Women in the Golf Industry” by Board Room Magazine, she believes golf can not only be a potential scholarship sport for juniors, but one enjoyed by singles and couples alike.  She speaks to the testimonials she has heard from members of ClubCorp Clubs as to what golf has meant in their lives.  In her chapter she cites stories from the Warrior Open, hosted by President George W. Bush at the Las Colinas Country Club adding a whole new dimension to what a difference golf can make in the lives of wounded veterans.  She admits that her career with ClubCorp affords her the opportunity to pursue a passion and a career at the same time.
