S&A Communications Attends the 2014 Spring Leaders Conference!

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - March 31, 2014 - PRLog -- S&A Communications got the opportunity to attend the 2014 Spring Leaders Conference in Dallas, TX this weekend!  Every spring and fall there are conferences that are held to provide networking opportunities with other marketing firms across the country.  The conferences serve as a way to gain knowledge, share information and advice, and spend time with other successful entrepreneurs.

The conference was filled with very valuable information that will lead to long term success.  The main points were how to set proper goals, the keys to positive thinking, and the importance of keeping things as simple as possible.

The team members of S&A Communications particularly enjoyed the information that was shared on The Keys to Positive Thinking.  Positive thinking is a very important aspect of a successful business and entrepreneur.  It is natural to have negative thoughts, however, it is important to recognize the negativity and turn it into positivity.  Positive thinking is fuel, and fuel gives you the power to hit your goals.

S&A Communications also had the opportunity to recognize one of our Top Account Managers at the conference!  The qualities of a Top Account Manager are someone who displays great leadership skills, leads by example, and consistently goes out of their way to help others achieve their goals.  S&A Communications was very excited to announce Demetrius Joyner-Wright as our Top Account Manager.

When asked about what he gained from the conference, Demetrius said, "I really enjoyed this conference.  So many of my questions about what it takes to be successful in business were answered without me even having to ask.  I recommend everyone go to a conference like this because you will gain so much from it.  I had a great time with my coworkers, and I am very excited to start applying the new information I received this weekend!"

Lastly, S&A Communications along with all of the marketing firms that attended the conference decided to do a fundraiser for Operation Smile while we were all gathered together.  Operation Smile is an organization that helps children in third world countries get their cleft lips and cleft palates repaired for free.  It doesn't take much to raise enough money to help a significant amount of children who are in need of these surgeries, and we are always looking for ways to help.

S&A Communications and the other marketing firms attending the conference sold raffle tickets to all of the attendees.  The prize was an iPad, and the total amount of money raised was $1650!  The President of S&A Communications, Ingrid Bodelson, said, "It is so great to be able to contribute to Operation Smile and see the life changing effects it can have on peoples lives.  We are happy we were able to help!"

S&A Communications really values opportunities to travel and attend events and conferences that will improve our business, our goals, and our results.  We enjoy getting out of the office, networking with other successful business owners, and sharing in exciting experiences.  Thank you to all of the team members of S&A Communications for making this trip a great experience and a memorable time!  S&A Communications is looking forward to our next travel opportunities!
