| ![]() Bosco Tech's Yurak 5K Run to be Held on Feb. 15All proceeds from the run will benefit both Bosco Tech’s award-winning music program and the Yurak Athletic Center (YAC), the school’s sports training facility and home of its nine competitive sports teams. Race registration is $35; $30 for groups of 10 or more. Registration includes racing fees, chip timing, finisher medal, commemorative t-shirt, and goody bag. The 5K course, on a level path next to the lake, is ideal for competitive runners as well as walkers. Parking at the facility is $10 per car and is not included in the registration fee. In addition to medals, plaques will be awarded to the top five male and female runners and to the fastest runner under 18 years of age. Online registration is available at www.boscotech.edu and same day, in-person registration will be available at the check-in table. Check in starts at 8:00 a.m. and the race begins at 9:00 a.m. The kids’ 1K Fun Run begins at 10:00 a.m. The health festival will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Santa Fe Dam (https://outlook.boscotech.edu/ Bosco Tech is an all-male Catholic high school, sponsored by the Salesians of Don Bosco, that combines a rigorous college-preparatory and technology-focused education.
