Comedian Ray Grady Will Be Featured in the Ninth Annual CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Comedian, Ray Grady has been chosen to participate in the Ninth Annual CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase. Directed by writer, Rick Najera (“Mad TV,” “In Living Color”) and produced by CBS Casting Vice President, Fern Orenstein, the actor showcase is recognized as the industry leader that highlights diverse talent. Actors will perform at the El Portal Theatre, January 22-23, 2014.

Excited about this huge opportunity, Ray Grady said, “There are only a handful of showcases that people anticipate annually and CBS is at the top of that list. So to say that I'm a part of the 2014 cast, is an honor to me.” The Comedian was chosen out of thousands of applicants to be a part of a very small group of talented actors and sketch comedians across the country. CBS Entertainment executives, casting directors from the Network's primetime and daytime programs, as well as casting directors from shows on other networks, will attend the Showcase.

In Spring 2014, Ray Grady will be appearing as one of the panelist on the new hit show, “Mind of a Man,” hosted by Deray Davis on GSN. The Comedian has toured with Corey Holcomb, Tony Rock and most recently, Mike Epps at various clubs across the country, including the Improv and Punchline Comedy Clubs.
