The company also introduced cybersecurity training leveraging games and simulations to improve the cybersecurity profile of a business and move it away from a punitive and “check the box” mentality.
Over 200 people participated in the Tata Interactive Learning Forum (TLF) held in the USA, India and Middle East. TLF is a global symposium which enables thought leaders and decision makers across various segments to share industry best practices and participate in thought-provoking discussions.
Formed an alliance with Center for Talent Reporting, and introduced TDRp standards to TIS’ customers globally.
Won 15 international awards (8 Brandon Hall Excellence Awards, sweeping 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze) for its multiple learning formats.
“2013 has been a very productive year for TIS and one in which we continued to evolve and develop,” said Tij Nerurkar, Chief Operating Officer, E-learning, TIS. “After 23 years in the custom learning space, and having delighted a global customer base of several hundred organizations, we continue to evolve and innovate using technology for better learning experience.”
In 2014, TIS will launch a few MOOCs (massive open online courseware) for its clients in the corporate segment, as several companies have been expressing interest to adapt the technology for lifelong learning and professional development.
TIS will also continue to focus on enabling learning through mobile technology. Tij added, “As mobile technology evolves into wearable devices, it remains to be seen if these platforms become a disruption in online learning.
