Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA —Chevrolet recently revealed their sales figures around the globe for the year of 2013, and the results were impressive—in fact, Chevy sold a record number of vehicles last year!

Globally, Chevrolet sold 4,984,126 vehicles during 2013. In the automaker’s four largest markets—the U.S., China, Brazil and Mexico—sales were up a combined 4 percent during the year.

“With 25 product launches around the world, including all-new versions of our most iconic nameplates – Corvette, Impala and Silverado – 2013 was a significant year for the Chevrolet brand,” said Alan Batey, General Motors senior vice president, Global Chevrolet.

A number of Chevrolet vehicles saw great success during 2013, including the Chevrolet Cruze, which was the automaker’s best-selling nameplate globally. The Chevrolet Sonic, Chevrolet Equinox and Chevrolet Volt also sold well in 2013.
