IBMC College Announces Kearns Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance

LONGMONT, Colo. - Dec. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Northern Colorado (December 27, 2013): IBMC College has named Barbara Kearns as the Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, serving IBMC’s campuses in Fort Collins, CO; Greeley, CO; Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY.

Kearns will work on the coordination of day-to-day regulatory affairs, corporate-wide compliance for all applicable federal and state regulations and serve as the company’s expert in all matters related to institutional accreditation standards.

She originally joined the IBMC College Fort Collins in August of 2010 as the Campus Director.  She later transitioned to Campus President of the Longmont campus and Accreditation and Compliance Director in 2012-2013.

Before being employed at IBMC, she served as an Academic Policy Consultant at Kaplan Higher Education Corporation from 2010-2011, a Campus President at Concorde Career College from 2006-2009 and a Corporate Retention Director for Corinthian Colleges from 1999-2006.

Kearns has distinguished academic curriculum vitae.  She has a Masters of Education from Century University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (Cum Laude with Highest Distinction) from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
