Hooters Australia have found their New Nest on the Gold Coast!

BAULKHAM HILLS, Australia - Dec. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Hooters is returning to the Gold Coast after a long awaited two years. The world famous restaurant is set to be reopened in early 2014 with a new location and new look.

Hooters was previously located on the Gold Coast’s at Mermaid Beach but was forced to close its doors due to a fire in March 2011.

A blaze broke out in the kitchen and the interior of the restaurant was completely destroyed.

In the past two years Hooters fans have been awaiting the return of the Gold Coast restaurant, many of them taking to the Hooters Facebook page to ask when and where Hooters will be reopening on the Gold Coast.

So the day has come, and Hooters Australia will be re-opening at one of Surfers Paradise iconic landmarks, the Pink Poodle. The Pink Poodle Motel was demolished in 2004; however the iconic sign still stands on the Gold Coast Highway and is set to be added to the local heritage register for “place of cultural heritage significance”.

The lease for the famous Pink Poodle site has been signed and Hooters of Gold Coast plans to be opened early in 2014.

Hooters are world famous for being a classic sports bar and casual dining restaurant. Hooters Australia is a unique dining experience offering great quality meals along with excellent customer service.
