RICHMOND, Vt. - Dec. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The current buzz surrounding modern folk artist Dan Coyle, is that of a performer who's truly genuine in all that he does. The city of Richmond whill have a chance to meet this captivating, quirky-pop-folk performer at On The Rise Bakery on February 7th for a free show at 7:30pm.

"I've been so lucky to live the life of an internationally touring performer for the past four years, it's been more than I could've imagined. The people that you meet throughout the world are so open and authentic; I'm thankful for each and every one of them," said Coyle.

Artists and musicians are often cast in a selfish, self aggrandizing, arrogant light; but Coyle is just the opposite, and his fans seem to appreciate that.

"When you see him take the stage he just looks so happy and that's refreshing to see," explained Jean Gleason of Kansas City who's seen Coyle perform live three times. She added, "He's one of the sweetest, most genuine people you could meet, and that comes through at his live shows. It's not very common today, but I find it invigorating, and his energy is great to be around."

Perhaps it was being homeless twice in his life, or the unexpected death of his father in 2009 that caused Coyle to stick out from the crowd by being such a  down-to-earth performer. In any case, it's something he appreciates being known for.

"I was playing at a show in Germany and these two girls came up to me and asked, 'is it true you're so happy?' I wasn't quite sure what they meant so I asked if they could say it again. The other girl responded with, 'you look so happy when you're playing, is it true?' That was the first time I really noticed it, but they were completely right. It's pure bliss up there," said Coyle.
