Introducing the Supercar Launch of the year hosted by Daytona Group and Standard Bank

NATIONAL - ONLINE, South Africa - Nov. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- In celebration of this momentous occasion, as well as the centenary birthday of legendary British motoring icon, Aston Martin and the 50^th birthday of renowned Formula 1 competitor McLaren, Daytona Group and Standard Bank Private Banking have joined forces to host the most anticipated supercar launch of the year. In honour of these exciting milestones, five new state-of-the-art models will be revealed at an exclusive event taking place on Thursday 28 November 2013.

CEO of Daytona Group, Justin Divaris says, “We are extremely excited to reveal five of our latest models to the South African market on our 10^th birthday. The most exciting one is of course the McLaren P1, which has been described internationally as the car of the decade and recently sold out overseas with all 375 models worth R30 million each accounted for, so this is truly something special.”

The other prestigious models to be revealed on the night include the Rolls-Royce Wraith and three new models from Aston Martin. They are the magnificent Rapide S, the Vanquish Volante and the V12 Vantage S.

State-of-the-art technology supplied by Antfarm and LaserNet will be utilised for live streaming within the venue, as well as externally over the internet to tablets and mobile phones to ensure that those who are unable to attend will not miss out. The spectacular supercars will also be showcased in all their glory on Samsung 85”, 65” and 55” Ultra HDTVs around the venue.

The event is definitely one for the social calendar. VIP guests, celebrities and media will be entertained like royalty under an impressive marquee, which will stretch across the courtyard of Daytona Group. Glow in the dark cocktail tables, chill out lounge areas, a glossy white floor, sexy technology and lighting, and delectable cocktails and canapes on offer make for a chic soirée. Guests will be regaled by the gorgeous Top Billing presenter Jeannie D, who will be MC for the evening, whilst DJ Euphonik’s prowess on the decks will keep the crowds entertained. And, lastly, after the final car is revealed, lead singer of popular local music group, Prime Circle, Ross Learmonth will take to the floor.
