East Coast Wings & Grill Expands to South Carolina

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - Nov. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Fanning the flames of great taste, a regional restaurant chain known for its fiery wings is establishing a foothold in South Carolina with a new franchise in the Charleston area.

East Coast Wings & Grill, whose logo features a blaze and the tagline “Feel the Flavor, Taste the Heat,” will open next to the Mount Pleasant Towne Center, at 1909 Highway 17 North.  This will be the chain’s 28^th location; the others are in North Carolina, Texas and Florida.

No ordinary wings joint, East Coast Wings & Grill takes the heat seriously.  Its menu features 75 flavors of Buffalo wings, with nine heat levels.  That means customers have 675 options – enough to try something different every day for over two years.  The chain is also known for its Insanity Wing – which requires customers to sign a waiver before ordering.

Besides wings, the restaurant also has a diverse menu of sandwiches, burgers, salads, wraps, quesadillas and its signature Lava Blossom.

The Mount Pleasant location marks something of a return home for George Nichols, who co-owns the franchise with his wife Sherry.  They currently reside in Lenoir, N.C., but jumped at the opportunity to bring East Coast Wings & Grill to their hometown.

“We’re excited to bring the heat to Mount Pleasant, and this is the perfect location,” says George Nichols.  “The highly trafficked Towne Center, with its retail, hotels, and movie theater, should provide a steady flow of diners looking to spice up their day.”

East Coast Wings & Grill will have its soft opening on December 9, with the grand opening scheduled for the second week of January, 2014.
