Entertain New England LLC Teams Up with Stone Zoo and Franklin Park Zoo for Halloween Family Fun

BOSTON - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- For the first time, Entertain New England LLC was proud to partner with Zoo New England this October, treating children and families from the Greater Boston area and beyond to fun musical entertainment, interactive dancing and games, trivia, contests, and prizes.

Zoo New England hosted two action-packed Halloween-themed weekends for families: the first, Boo at the Zoo, was held at the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA, on October 19 and 20; the second, Zoo Howl, took place at Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, on October 26 and 27.

Children and families throughout New England were invited to trick-or-treat among the animals, with thrills, chills, and animals lurking around every corner along the Trick-or-Treat Trail. Other haunted happenings included creepy crafts, a haunted maze, hay rides, and ghoulishly fun games, costume and “howling” contests, and dancing with the costumed Entertain New England team. Throughout each weekend, guests could also learn about the importance of enrichment as they watched many of the animals receive pumpkins as enrichment items.

Entertain New England was glad to join Zoo New England’s other major supporters and partners of this year’s Halloween festivities, including Green Halloween®, a grassroots initiative to encourage communities to celebrate healthier and more sustainable holidays starting with Halloween, Zoo New England’s 2013 radio partner MAGIC 106.7, “unjunked” treat provider UNREAL Candy, Whole Foods Melrose and Whole Foods Jamaica Plain, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, and hibu, among others.
