Entertain New England LLC Names Its Official 2014 Charity of Choice

BOSTON - Dec. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- On #GivingTuesday, in the middle of the holiday season, Entertain New England LLC was proud to announce that it has selected The Children’s Room as its Official 2014 Charity of Choice.

As the entertainment company’s chosen charity, The Children’s Room (also known as TCR) will be the recipient of in-kind event services from Entertain New England such as DJs, audio/visual services, and other fitting performers and entertainment concepts, for TCR’s major events in 2014.

“A big part of our business is bringing joy to young children, teens, their parents and family members, and almost nothing makes us happier,” said company founder John Dudley. “With this in mind, I shared an instant connection with The Children’s Room.”

The Children’s Room is the largest independent, non-profit organization in Massachusetts dedicated to creating safe, supportive communities so that no child, teen or family has to grieve alone. TCR provides support and education to families, professionals, and the community through programs offered at its Arlington center and beyond.

“I first connected with TCR around this time last year, and shortly thereafter they graciously accepted me as a member of their eight-person 2013 Boston Marathon Miles & Memories fundraising team,” said Dudley, “As someone who has experienced sudden and painful personal loss, I was amazed to tour their inviting facility, learn about their off-site programs, and see how they provide so many children and families with a community and the promise of hope in their severest time of need.

“We are very proud to partner with TCR in the coming year, to help them raise funds and awareness of their vital services.”
