Mike Brown is the owner of Next Level Recovery an Out Patient Treatment Center in SLC and SLP Sober Living Property’s Founders: In developing Next Level Recovery, Michael and ReneeBrown collected a dedicated and effective team of professionals who assist clients in heroin treatment and recovery from substance abuse.  Michael and Renee have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient centers, where they have helped patients transition from a heroin treatment environment to a supportive housing environment and, ultimately, to self-supporting independence.  Michael and Renee have developed and continue to run a successful structured transitional housing program—Sober Living Properties—that provides housing and services to clients as they begin recovery from addiction.

Next Level Recovery is founded on sound evidence-based knowledge and is developed to accommodate the needs of those who seek heroin treatment.  Next Level Recovery takes a practical and therapeutic approach to heroin treatment that supports clients in the environment that is most comfortable and healthiest for them. Because Next Level Recovery is an outpatient heroin treatment and addiction recovery treatment center, clients can maintain their current work schedule, seek out new employment, and/or explore education during the treatment process. Individuals who are not currently working or setting educational goals will find encouragement and support as they face life’s challenges and set new dreams for their career, education, and life.

Healing and recovery are within reach when you take treatment and recovery to the “next level.” Our dedicated staff, at Next Level Recovery, provide treatment that will help ease your transition from dependency to a substance-free and healthy life. We make recovery easier by providingflexible schedules that allow you to continue living life on your terms.

Codependency and Recovery:

The term codependent originated as a way to describe people who use relationships with others as their sole source of value and identity, and built on the experience of Alcoholics Anonymous that the addict's problem could be compounded by the enabling role of those who made up their network

Beattie maintained in her bestseller that a codependent is a person who believes their happiness is derived from other people or one person in particular, eventually becoming obsessed with controlling the behavior of the people/person that they believe is making them happy: hence codependents often end up in relationships with drug (including Alcohol) addicted spouses or lovers.

Signs of Relationship Codependence

Ask these three questions to help you identify whether yours is a codependent relationship.

Question 1: Is this relationship more important to me than I am?

Question 2: What price am I paying for being with this person?

Question 3: Am I the only one putting energy into this relationship?
