Community activist to address committee at public assembly meeting

Oct. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Oct 31, 2013, Indianapolis. IN – Community activist, blogger and organizer Bryan Chatfield will speak to community members and council members the Common Council Public Assembly on November 4th, 2013 from 6:30 pm -7:30 pm. The council meeting will be held at the Lawrence Government Center located at 9001 E. 59th St. 46216.

Chatfield will speak on issues in the Lawrence community on topics including poverty, current projects and ways to help community member’s deal with dire issues such as low income and helping past felons find stable employment.

The assembly is open to the public where community members can address questions, comments and concerns.

Chatfield who has made it his mission to address poverty issues hopes to bring this integral issue to the committee during the public assembly so that people can see how it affects their neighbor, family member or even themselves.

“Poverty has always been my issue of choice. I hope to address this issue to the assembly by showcasing ways we can tackle this and bridge the gap.” said Chatfield.
