Big Brothers Big Sisters & The William Walsh Foundation Hold Press Conference to Declare Partnership

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The William Walsh Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America will hold a joint press conference on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel Downtown Los Angeles to announce their partnership to inspire and empower young entrepreneurs.

The William Walsh Foundation will grant 100 Rainmaker Elite scholarships valued at $3,000 each to Big Brothers Big Sisters students who apply for the scholarship program. The Rainmaker Elite, developed by America’s Business Expert and Venture Capitalist, Bill Walsh, will teach students how to start, launch, and grow a business.

To celebrate the partnership, a black tie gala will be held November 9^th where five students will be selected from the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization to be the first to be awarded the scholarship.

William Walsh Foundation founder, Bill Walsh, commonly known as America’s Business Expert, will participate in a joint press conference with, Rosa Delgadillo, Director of Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters. Walsh and Delgadillo will announce the partnership and goals to inspire and empower young students nationwide.

·       To kick off the partnership The William Walsh Foundation and BBBS launched an essay contest October 9, 2013  for teens living amongst the five Los Angeles BBBS locations.

·       The final day to apply is October 25,  in which five (5) winners in total  (one from each Los Angeles BBBS location) will be chosen.

·       The scholarship program will launch nationwide to students 18 years and under on November 10, 2013 by applying at http://www.williamwalshfoundation.com/contest/
