Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Chicagoland thrill-seekers are in for a treat this Halloween season as THE FEAR, the Chicago haunted house at Navy Pier (http://www.conciergepreferred.com/component/k2/5371-the-fear-haunted-house-at-navy-pier.html), returns for its 2013 season. Opening its creaky Chicago Halloween doors October 10-31, THE FEAR features two haunted house experiences: one daytime and one nighttime. Both run about 15 to 20 minutes with tickets for THE FEAR Haunted House at night costing $20 and $12 for the daytime Fear-less Haunted House.

Previously ranked amongst Chicago's top haunted houses by hauntedhousechicago.com and Haunted Attraction Magazine, this year's nighttime FEAR sees the return of the frightful Captain to Navy Pier after a long and harrowing journey. Featured at the Haunted House are more than 50 of his captured and chained creatures - dangerous, fearful beasts eager for escape and revenge. The clown, werewolf, zombie, and more are set to thrill visitors throughout October on Thursdays and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Wednesday, October 30 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The night show is recommended for ages 13 through adult.

If heading through the nighttime FEAR's 18 dark rooms proves too scary for some, the Fear-less Haunted House during the day tones down the fright. This lights-on guided tour takes place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and on October 14. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a paid adult.

Tickets are available for purchase at http://www.thefearhauntedhouse.com/tickets.html with some group rate availability.
