WEST VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Oct. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Explorer Software wrapped up its annual Users Conference last month in Charleston, South Carolina. Connections 2013 was held at one of the top resorts in the Southern United States, Wild Dunes. The resort provided a stunning and relaxing backdrop for three days of educational sessions, roundtable discussions, keynote speakers and a firsthand look at some of the exciting new enhancements Explorer will be releasing this fall. Among the new enhancements, are the brand new DocPro Document Management System and Project Control modules, as well as a completely redesigned Business Analytics module which will deliver unparalleled power and flexibility in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. Users will be able to quickly drag and drop information, filter, and create customized views, reports and even dashboards.

In addition, the roundtable sessions at Connections were particularly well received. After learning about some of the new features added to Contract Manager in the last 12 months, attendees had the opportunity to vote on enhancement projects for the coming year.

"We design our software with contractors in mind, so it's important that they have a say, as we look at programming projects we want to accomplish over the next year" explained Sally Felgnar, Director of Professional Services for Explorer Software. The Steering Committee, of which Felgnar is a member, meets monthly to review and approve enhancement requests submitted by Contract Manager users. Indeed Explorer appears committed to innovation and moving forward. In the last quarter alone, the company released over 100 new enhancements.

In addition to conference sessions, attendees enjoyed southern hospitality and two memorable evening events, including a visit to one of the oldest working plantations in the south, Boone Hall. Attendees enjoyed an unforgettable evening complete with live Gullah music, cigar rolling and a southern dinner buffet, complete with oyster bake and shrimp boil.

Shelley Hoffman, Managing Director, North America said "Networking is a big part of the conference. Everyone benefits from the opportunity to connect with their peers. It's an opportunity to exchange ideas and build relationships. We hope to see everyone again next year for Connections 2014."
