Derry/Londonderry is gearing itself up for a Halloween Hooley as never before seen in the city, with its biggest ever festival programme planned in 2013 featuring some terror-ific characters, mythical mayhem and a whole host of ghostly goings on.

The five day festival will cast a spooky spotlight on the city and all it has to offer in terms of culture, art, imagination and of course, fun as we showcase Derry/Londonderry’s premier annual event.

Throughout the five days festival goers can enjoy spooktacular events such as the Halloween Ball, Freakish films, the awakening of the walls, Halloween river watch as well and the Market filled with fun.

Derry/Londonderry has been the “go to” place for Halloween in Northern Ireland for over 10 years and always guarantees a fun filled time for young and old alike. It is a fantastic family adventure for all involved and in turn boosts not only the morale of the City but also positively impacts the local economy.

The Managing director of 6 Star Enterprise stated "The celebrations within Derry/Londonderry are second to none during the Halloween Period. It is excellent to see all sides of the community come together and celebrate in a somewhat hostile City at times. Derry/Londonderry has had many years of conflict due to the divisions within the city and Northern Ireland in general however it is at time such as this that the unity of the city is evident and very welcome”.

The MD stated further  “This festival is a perfect opportunity to get the crew together and mix business with pleasure.
