-- Tiarnan O’Kane CEO of 6 Star Enterprise speaks out for young adults seeking out work after the recession, “As a young adult myself I know how dificult it can be to get your first job. It is a vicious cycle as employers insist on experience, however if all companies think the same and not willing to provide that experience, then how are young adults meant to get on career ladder? I believe that young adults have something unique to offer the work place and that is a fresh outlook.”
A recent report submitted by https://www.gov.uk/
shows that Skills Minister Matthew Hancock said: “With GCSE results out today, I am heartened to see the fall in the number of young people not in work, training or education. We are heading in the right direction, but one young person out of work, education or training, is one too many. That is why we are continuing to work hard to give young people the skills, confidence and experience demanded by employers and universities. Only then can we say we have done everything we can to ensure young people reach their potential and help us compete in the global race.”
6 Star Enterprise is a you and vibrant leading sales and marketing company based in Belfast. CEO Tiarnan O’Kane believes that all young adults should be given a chance to better the education and experience level. ‘Young adults are the future of our economy, so it make so sense shutting them out of earning their place in society’ said Tiarnan O’Kane. ‘Young adults have something to prove, which gives them a fitting attitude and a strong work ethic’ added Tiarnan O’Kane. So why is there still so many young adults still out of work.
The report submitted by https://www.gov.uk
/ also revealed that employer surveys suggest young people lack the experience and skills required to be successful in the workplace. That is why the government is continuing its reforms to ensure every young person is prepared for the world of work, enabling them to prosper and compete in the global race.
Due to the fact that it is hard for young adults to get on the career ladder, many young adults have chosen to start their own business. 6 Star Enterprise advocates this choice with a source saying, “starting your own business is hard work and the decision must not be taken lightly. However with hard work, a good business plan and ensuring there is a need for your product or service there are copious amounts of rewards. As a business owner myself, it has been a bumpy road, but I am building the road myself and following my own path which has been empowering.”
