-- Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah, the leading five star beach hotel in Sharjah organised a fire fighting/ fire drill exercise training in cooperation with the Sharjah Civil Defence. Fire & Emergency Training is a part of the hotel’ s commitment to the safety and security of its guests and is a continuous effort to ensure that it is in line with its goals on safety and security, especially in regards to the technical aspects and equipment.
The emergency response team evacuated employees to the designated assembly point located next to the parking lot of the hotel. Every head of department performed a head count to make sure all employees were safe and accounted for. The exercise was done to create safety awareness among the staff and to deal promptly during fire emergency situations.
"Safety is a top priority at Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah and health and safety training programmes such as this are regularly conducted for employees to ensure a high knowledge of excellent safety skills and most importantly, a safe environment for our guests," said Basel Talal , General Manager of Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah.
In addition, Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah in partnership with the Sharjah Civil Defence team has a rescue point assigned within the resort in providing a 24x7 Emergency ambulance service. In order to provide better services to the guests, a fully equipped Ambulatory Van, along with qualified and well-trained first aid team will attend to emergency cases at any time located at the Hotel.
