concert:nova presents RE:NEW, Season 7 Launch Party, FREE and open to the public

CINCINNATI - Sept. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- September 14, 2013- CINCINNATI, OH — concert:nova, Cincinnati’s most innovative chamber music ensemble, will formally announce its 2013-2014 season with RE:NEW, a season launch party and performance, on September 25 at 5:30pm in the Reading Garden Lounge of the Main Branch of the Cincinnati Public Library.

RE:NEW is presented as an opportunity for audiences to meet the minds behind the ensemble and to engage them in a powerful intimate performance in true concert:nova fashion. The party kicks off at 5:30pm with refreshments from Coffee Emporium and music by “DJ Mowgli” aka Ria Matlib, CityBeat Magazine’s Best DJ in Cincinnati. Founder and Artistic Director, Ixi Chen, will unveil concert:nova’s much anticipated seventh season concert series.

Following the season 7 announcement concert:nova will treat audiences to a special concert featuring music from DeFalla, Piazzolla, Morales and more. Music will be performed by crowd favorites, Ted Nelson, cello; Doug Lindsay, trumpet; Cristian Ganicenco, trombone; and Julie Spangler, piano. The party concludes with a post launch mixer featuring more music from DJ Mowgli and lite bites from OTR’s very own A Tavola Pizza.
