Beach Clean Up at Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah

SHARJAH, UAE - Sept. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah and Responsible Business Team took the initiative to clean the hotel’s beach as part of Responsible Business activity on 09 Sept 2013.  In keeping with hotel’s commitment to saving the environment, the activity is to maintain the cleanliness of Beach of hotel and also educating the members about the environment and encouraging them to engage in more sustainable activities in their day –to-day activities.

The cleanup program started at 07.00 hrs with RB team hand in hand to make the beach a cleaner place. The team removed debris from sea bottom, collected stones from the beach in the bags which were disposed responsibly.  Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah continues participating and thinking of ways to engage the community in long term environmental initiatives.

Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah has merited Responsible Business through various efforts over the last few years.  The hotel has the international 'Green Key' certification for three years in a row, a HACCP certified hotel, participating on local environmental activities and supporting local charity.
