~ A Turbulent Diet for Turbulent Times

Have you heard about 'Turbulence Fitness Training'?
The theory is intense or 'turbulent' training episodes and cycles create a leaner body, quicker, and the 'turbulence' factor increases the uptake of oxygen and reduces the body's internal signaling to store fat.
It makes total sense, because as the website suggests [ at www.TurbFit.com ] when long-duration excercises are performed our body signal cravings for carbs and sweets.  Which of course is why 'carbo-loading' is seen by performance athletes as a natural pre-workout 'must do'. Do you really want long, exhausting, repetitive (ie, boring) exercises that program your body to crave carbs and store fat?
You'll want to check this out, especially if you use a treadmill excercise machine (at home or the gym). I think it's hilarious, but with the work-out offer comes a free pre-written ad (for Craigslist, etc) to sell  your exercise equipment.   But seriously, the author of this guide, Craig Ballantyne, is the real McCoy,
when it comes to serious fitness and appearance. Aside from having a master’s in exercise science, Craig's articles appear in popular men's and women's health magazines  such as Oxygen, Men’s Health, Women’s Health and more.
When I think about it, my body has always felt more sluggish (depleted) in the interim times  (between workouts) when I did alot of cardio routines.  Actually, I felt flat exhausted. But kept pushing myself, believing it was the most important core of my fitness routine,  not wanting to 'wimp out'.   This was complicated with a self-imposed feeling of needing to deprive my bodies cries for replenishment afterwards (otherwise, your workout was a waste, right?).
I felt my body was telling me something I couldn't quite understand,
or deduce logically, until I read Craig's stunning report [ at http://www.TurbFit.com ].
I say stunning because I've read alot about the benefits of rigorous (intense) exercising before, but this blew the lid off my ego, because I knew I'd been missing something.
I've started Turbulence style fitness training - for just about a week - and already I feel I'm more 'solid' and 'defined', along with being less tired & exhausted.
At first I felt a little guilty, like I'm being lazy.   But the guilt is easy to get over.
I undertand getting started can be a little tough -- Craig's got a startup plan to
hit-the-ground "not running" (pun intended) if your still feeling sluggish from all that cardio.
So cheer up, eat a cheeseburger (it's safer than cardio I hear) and get ready to be pumped.
