The Association underscores that the conference operated without claims of guardianship or exclusive representation. Rather, it sought to organise and coordinate collective efforts based on the principle that shared destiny took precedence over individual affiliations. Commitment to Rights and Unity In line with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Association supported mechanisms that defended the fundamental rights of Alawites, foremost among them the rights to life, dignity, freedom, and self-determination. The unity of the Alawite community—despite differences in perspectives and approaches—remained a central priority of both the conference and the Association's broader mission.
