Savannah, Ga.— August 29, 2013 — The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME), a group of military, civilian, and post-secondary educators who serve as advocates for our country’s service member and veteran college students, will be hosting its annual professional development symposium at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center in Savannah, Georgia, the week of February 10-14, 2014.

This year’s symposium, Crossroads in Military Education: Looking Back, Moving Forward, will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the passage of the landmark G.I. Bill, and is expected to bring together over 1,000 professionals dedicated to the advancement of military education services.

“Currently, CCME is the only organization in existence that creates, enhances and delivers education and support services specifically suited for the needs of our military student community,” said Michael Heberling, CCME President. “At no other time in the year will you be able to access such a wealth of knowledge in regards to the training, best practices and changing government policies related to serving our students and mission.”

To register to attend this year’s symposium or for more information, please visit: http://ccmeonline.org/annualsymposium. Early bird pricing for members and nonmembers is available for a limited time.

Additionally, CCME is now accepting applications for sponsors and exhibitors for this year’s symposium. With over 1,000 guests expected to join us in Savannah, this is the perfect opportunity for companies to make connections with individuals who feel passionately about supporting and making a difference in the lives of our military students who are serving around the world.  For more information about these opportunities, please email: ccme@epponline.com.
