The way that Ice-Breaker bingo is played is:

1. Each member of the group is given one of the ice-breaker bingo cards.

2. The members of the group are then told to circulate, talk to other members of the group.  The goal is to find people who match the descriptions on their bingo cards, and get them to sign matching squares. (it is usually best to place a limit on the number of squares a person can sign on any particular bingo card - say 1 or 2 squares per person).

3. The winner of the game is the first person to get a winning pattern of signed squares (say two intersecting lines of five). In the event of a tie, or nobody achieving this goal before the time runs out, whoever has the most different signatures on their card is the winner.

Of course, while it's good for players to have a little competitive spirit, winning is not really the main purpose of the game – the real purpose of the game is meet the other people in the group, and for players to introduce themselves to each other.
