Follow on Google News | Sunil Tanna's Math Books Now Available as Paperback BooksAnswers 2000 today announced the availability of Sunil Tanna's successful math books, previously only available in Kindle format, and now available in printed paperback editions.
By: Answers 2000 The three books are: 1. Teach Your Kids Math: Multiplication Times Tables Times tables form a foundation upon which many other math skills are built. This book is a comprehensive guide to parents wanting to teach their children times tables from 0 X 0 up to 12 X 12. The book includes many tips, tricks, and techniques for remembering times tables, as well as other facts – for example, how to quickly tell if any number is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 or 10. The book is printed in full color, and includes photographs explaing "finger tricks" which can help children with multiplication. 2. You Can Do Math: Working With Fractions This book is a comprehensive guide to understand and working with fractions. As well introducing the idea of fractions, it also explains comparing fractions, simplifying fraction, arithmetic with fractions (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing), complex fractions, and convert fractions to and from decimals. The book is printed in full color and includes numerous color illustrations. Each section of the book also contains practice questions for every key topic (more than 300 questions in total) – each set of practice questions begins with an example, and the answers are available at the end of each chapter. 3. Amazing Math: Introduction to Platonic Solids Platonic solids are regular 3D shapes made from polygons (polyhedra), and play an important part in math, science, the arts, and everyday life. This book introduces each of the five Platonic solids, explains key features, and where they occur in nature. Mathematical ideas behind Platonic solids are also explained in detail, including two proofs that there are only 5 Platonic solids, relationships between Platonic solids ("dual polyhedra"), and how to work surface area, volume, and angles in each Platonic solid. Additionally the book contains an introductory overview of some other important types of polyhedra including prisms, antiprisms, Archimedean solids, Catalan solids, and Johnson solids. The book is printed in full color, and contains numerous color illustrations throughout. All three of these books are now available both for Kindle (great care has been taken to ensure that all math notation displays properly – unlike some math books by other authors/publishers) To find out more about these books, please go to: http://www.suniltanna.com/ ABOUT SUNIL TANNA'S MATH BOOKS A Cambridge graduate and math/science tutor, Sunil Tanna is the author of a number of popular math books.
