-- Hello and thanks for visiting our blog! I am a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee, GO VOLS! My grandfather, great aunt, great uncle, father, aunts, cousins and sister also attended UT and it’s pretty safe to say that we all bleed orange. Growing up, most Saturdays during the fall my family could usually be found in our season ticket seats in Neyland Stadium cheering on our beloved Vols. I started attending SEC football games as a young child and don’t miss the chance to be in Neyland still to this day. Over the years, there have been many items surrounding the SEC culture that have come and gone, but so many have graciously stayed the same. Whether it be Hotty Toddy, Rammer Jammer, Rocky Top, the infamous ‘Hedges,’ the Boys from Old Florida, the calling of the hogs or the Tiger Walk, as football fans we cherish all of our traditions. Among all of the long standing traditions there has been one that has become more like an unwritten rule : getting dressed up on gameday! Any newcomer to an SEC football game might find themselves wondering if they showed up for a football game or a fashion show? As women of the SEC, we take extreme pride in the fact that showing up at one of our tailgates just might remind you of a runway. But don’t be fooled! As much fun as getting dressed up on a gameday can be, don’t assume that it’s always easy. As effortless as a belle might make it look, there is a strategy behind that perfect combination of the pearls, dresses & cowboy boots! After years of hunting high and low for the perfect gameday outfits, I decided to open up my boutique, First and 10 Gameday Dresses. I hope to make your gamedays full of fun and affordable fashion by providing a one stop shop for all your gameday attire. Rather than hoping to find an outfit that’s not only cute, but available in the perfect color, in a local department store, you can come to our website for easy shopping that’s centered around the concept of getting dressed up for games! Not only will we make your shopping easier, we will make it more convenient. Our online boutique allows you to shop from home and have your gameday gear delivered directly to your doorstep. The tradition of Gameday Dresses lives on and is actually becoming more popular as it grows from the southeast to other conferences throughout the country. I hope that ladies everywhere get the chance to experience some of the fun that we have been having in the SEC by getting dressed up on Saturdays!
