Dr. DeMaria Elected to ISHM Board of Directors

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Dr. DeMaria is an internationally recognized safety engineer, author and executive, with more than 35 years of technical and business achievements. 

According to Dr. DeMaria, “I am humbled by election into this prestigious organization and body of safety and health professionals.”  He had previously assisted ISHM in the writing and evaluation of examination questions for the award of Certified Safety and Health Manager, an internationally recognized board certification for safety professionals.  

After this announcement, Dr. DeMaria’s first challenge was to today’s safety managers:

“Provide guidance and leadership to the safety technicians of today for they will be our safety managers of tomorrow. We were all there once, and with lots of patience by our mentors, we are… where we are… because of them.  Now, let’s pay it forward.”

Dr. DeMaria will travel to Chicago, Illinois in September for the swearing in ceremony during this years’ National Safety Council conference.
