IT Executive Available to Media as an Expert Resource.

Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Christopher Tonjes has spent the past 20 years transforming how the government uses Information Technology. Now, Mr. Tonjes is making himself available to the media as an IT and CIP expert.  In addition to working for the government, Mr. Tonjes’ services have been employed by Freddie Mac, Deutsche Bank, Prudential Insurance, IBM, LCC International, and Systematics (now Fidelity National Information Systems).

 “I wanted to make my knowledge and opinions available to the media to eliminate possible misinformation from being broadcasted or printed.  I’m able to provide comprehensive and supportive information that can provide a reporter with not only an engaging interview, but viewers with actual resources and solutions.  I feel my knowledge is an asset that is able to provide a competitive edge to any member of the press,” said Chris Tonjes.

 Mr. Tonjes’ experience is wide-ranging, including;  writing a multi-media training courseware for an Air Force cargo plane training program, supervising writers and editors in the development of large Federal Government proposals, acting as the Project Manager for a high net worth individual investor portal project with Merrill Lynch, acting as the  Project Manager for an HR benefits self-service benefits portal that transformed a paper-based HR processes into web-based self-service forms, and was a liaison with other E-government projects- including wireless, enterprise data warehouse, and enterprise architecture development for the District of Columbia- which also included revamping the city’s official website.
