Local Gift Shop The Woods Gifts to Open New Location in Woodbury Next Month

WOODBURY, Minn. - July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The Woods Gifts proudly announced today the grand opening of their newest location, The Woods of Woodbury, on Aug. 1.

The new store, to be located in Tamarack Village, will be its third open location, with other current locations in Maple Grove and Edina.

The prominent local gift shop is asking the community to help it celebrate its grand opening with special deals and discounts throughout the store, as well as a few giveaways.

Starting on Thursday, Aug. 1, a free tote will be given away with each purchase, while supplies last. Also, buttons, with a discount coupon included, will be given away with purchases.

On Saturday Aug.  3, Hap the Bear will make an appearance between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  During the same time frame there will be food samples, balloons and a floral demonstration by another local business, Sweet Pea Floral.  At the end of the session, someone will win a floral arrangement.

Donations will be accepted for the Christian Cupboard, a local food shelf.

The new, bigger and better store has an open ceiling, rustic beams, stained concrete floors, and an overall more modern look. The spacious location has room for more merchandise.

The Woods of Woodbury will be on par with the spaciousness of The Woods in Maple Grove with 4,600 square feet of floor space and about twice the floor space of The Woods at Southdale Center. It is the second largest store the company has ever opened.

"We are very excited about the new location because it will give us an opportunity to tap the eastern Minnesota market," said David Looney, owner of The Woods Gifts. "This new store is bigger and better; we can bet you've never seen anything like it."

Returning customers can look forward the same high-quality handcrafted gifts they’ve come to love, but with even more of a selection.  Customers will still find the products and brands they love, including WoodWick Candles, wooden signs, Baggallini Baggs and more.

The store will be broken into multiple sections to properly highlight merchandise. A pantry area will feature all available food products, and there will be expansions of the jewelry and accessories selections.

Also going on during the month of August in all The Woods Gifts locations is the annual “Christmas in August” event. This sale allows customers to enjoy 10% off all Christmas items. Those signed up for The Woods Gift’s mailing or emailing lists will be able to claim 15% off with their coupon.
