Real Simple Magazine has determined that Premio Foods has the “best-
Italian Sausage”
and “best-
Bratwurst.”
The staffers sampled 151 different sausages before deciding the best of the best.
The article, titled Road Test Sausage, can be found in
Real Simple’s July 2013 edition. The staff lists each of the best in five different categories- best bratwurst, best Italian, best chicken, best cheese and best meatless, for those who are vegetarian but still enjoy sausage. They briefly explain why they chose the winner, in addition to how much a pack costs and where you can find them to purchase.
Premio, which took home two of the five categories, had both their Sweet Italian sausage and Hot Italian sausage listed as “Best Italian Sausage,”
as staffers raved about each of their classic flavors. Premio’s Bratwursts were described as “the perfect canvas for any topping.”

while Niman’
s Ranch Chipotle Cheddar sausage won “best cheese sausage”
