Premio Foods Joins Fight Against Hunger

NEW JERSEY, N.J. - Sept. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- ROCHELLE PARK, NJ – Sept. 27, 2013.  Premio Foods Inc., a family-owned Italian sausage manufacturer located in northern New Jersey, is partnering up with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to provide food, help and hope across the state.

The Check-Out Hunger campaign has been a familiar sight for millions of grocery shoppers across New Jersey and throughout the entire northeast for the past 20 years.  This year it is scheduled to run from late September until the end of January 2014.

This campaign is an easy and successful way for shoppers to help feed hungry families.  Next time you’re at the checkout, choose your donation amount ($1, $3 or $5) and have your coupon scanned and added to your purchase.

Last year alone generous donors helped raise over $1.2 million for food banks in the state, and 100% of every Check-Out Hunger donation made in their service area went directly to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.  The fundraiser is a major source of funding for the FoodBank and will help them with their ongoing efforts to fight hunger.
