Wellcorprx Announces Partnership With Purchasing Alliance Solutions

ATLANTA - July 16, 2013 - PRLog -- July 15, 2013, Atlanta, GA: WellCorpRx LLC, America’s Wellness Prescription, has recently joined forces with Purchasing Alliance Solutions (PAS) to bring on-site corporate employee wellness services throughout Atlanta and surrounding cities.

PAS, an employee benefits firm, specializes in working with Georgia Chambers of Commerce alliances and independent insurance agents to provide value added programs and insurance solutions for its members. It has contracts with 140 chambers in 159 counties as well as more than 59,000 employees under the chamber health insurance program representing over 5,000 employer groups.

WellCorpRx wellness events include various health screenings and a wellness exam given by a medical provider in addition to programs and healthy tips to inspire and promote wellness and health.The overall goal of the employee wellness program is to improve employee health and in turn, lower health insurance costs for the administration and creating a healthy and positive working environment.  A wide spectrum of tests was performed at the GCPS events to determine the presence of diabetes, peripheral artery disease, and environmental allergies as well as to measure bone density and metabolic levels. It also incorporated fitness and healthy eating consultations with the company’s nutritionists.
