Max protection from shin pad rash helps Chelsea under-10 international to a second year as Under-11

LEEDS, U.K. - June 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Type “shin rash” into one of the popular internet search engines and you’ll find in excess of 2¾ million pages discussing this rather uncomfortable and at times, painful topic.

One person who did this was Matt Thompson, whose 10 year-old son Max was suffering with a sore, itchy rash extending from his ankle to below his knee, all as a result of a Sunday-afternoon game of football.

Matt found from his own investigations that 'Shin Pad Rash' or, skin dermatitis, was a very common complaint amongst young football and hockey players.

Having taken Max to the doctors, he found that the application of steroid creams, bandages and a three-week break from football was the only answer.
