INGLEWOOD June 10, 2013 - 25 Dreams, an educational music and print media company, will organize a free parent workshop entitled “Teach Your Kids How to Multiply in Minutes with Multiplication Nation” at Bright Stars Reading Club, 714 E. at Manchester Blvd., Inglewood CA  on June 26. The workshop will take place from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Megan Faux, the mastermind behind the Multiplication Nation, will present the “Skip Counting Methodology,” a quick multiplication technique, which teaches kids to multiply in matter of minutes. This workshop aims to provide parents with the knowledge needed to help their kids multiply confidently and accurately.

Faux is an expert educator with experiences of seventeen years. She started her career as a second grade teacher and served for 4 years. Later, she worked as Literacy and Instructional Coach for 11 years where she taught teachers how to teach reading. It was her stint during  teaching that she birthed and applied the skip counting methodology in the classroom  to model solving multiplication problems with ease. After completion of grade two, her students could divide and multiply multiples up to twelve with little effort.

Former students have stated they use the songs and methods taught by Faux to solve the math problems even at higher levels and in everyday life.

Faux’s method of teaching has already gained popularity and the WAVE newspaper made a news story about it and published on its front page.

Currently, Faux is serving as CEO of 25 Dreams Publishing Concepts, Inc.  

The interested parents will require completing registration without any charge to attend the workshop. Seats are limited to a maximum of 30 participants.
