Swellegant Sinatra Celebration Swings Soon in Avon-By-The-Sea, NJThe swingin' program will honor Frank Sinatra's 110th heavenly birthday, with a bit of holiday spirit added. Guest speakers, live music, and surprise giveaways will round out the afternoon festivities. Frank Sinatra, a talented musical icon known as "The Voice," profoundly impacted and influenced 20th-century music and beyond with his songs and style. The event begins with Sinatra Scholars Chuck Granata and Dana Polan on hand to chat about the entertaining film and soundtrack of High Society, a 1956 romantic musical comedy starring Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Louis Armstrong. Additional discussion will include insights about Frank Sinatra and his exceptional recording career. Vocalist Zack Alexander will perform popular Sinatra tunes and classic holiday favorites as part of the celebration.
