Teterboro 5k Run is July 20th in Northern NJ

MONTVALE, N.J. - June 8, 2013 - PRLog -- In the North Jersey area, their are few road races that attract as much attention and as many participants as the Teterboro 5k Run.

According to mybergen.com, the 16th Annual Teterboro 5K will be held on the runway at Teterboro Airport in Teterboro, New Jersey on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 8:30 am.

Every year almost 1,000 runners and hundreds of spectators attend this exciting race. There are over $10,000 in prizes awarded to the runners and one lucky winner will receive a $1,000 grand prize.

Since its inception, the race has raised over $450,000 for Bergen County's United Way and NJ 211.

While the July heat can sometimes be an uncomfortable factor for runners, the Teterboro Run is mainly known for its flat course and the remarkably fast times turned in by competitors of all levels.

The organization of this hugely popular event is first-class all the way.       Despite the crowds and potential difficulties of holding a race on an airport tarmac, the Teterboro Run goes off without a hitch every year.
