Peptides International Participates In Kentucky Trade Mission to Canada

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - June 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Louisville, KY – June 6, 2013 – Peptides International Inc. is pleased to announce its participation as one of the nearly two dozen Kentucky–based companies accompanying Governor Steve Beshear as part of the Kentucky Export Initiative (KEI) trade mission to Canada.

Peptides International is honored to be the only biotechnology company participating in the trade mission.  

The itinerary, with stops in Toronto and Montreal, seeks to increase commerce between Kentucky and Canada.  As mentioned in the press release from the Kentucky.gov Website, “Kentucky’s business ties to Canada play a major factor in the Commonwealth’s economy, with an estimated $11 billion in bilateral trade between Canada and Kentucky. Canada is Kentucky’s number one trade destination, with $7.3 billion in Kentucky products and services exported to Canada in 2012. Overall, Kentucky’s exports to 199 nations in 2012 totaled $22 billion, setting an all-time record.”
