Car Dealer Serving Wilkes Barre Sponsors Pep Rally to Congratulate High School Students

May 7, 2013 - PRLog -- On April 18th, three high school students became finalists to win the grand prize of a new 2013 Toyota Corolla from one of the top car dealers serving Wilkes Barre. Simply doing the right thing will benefit a selfless teen.

Toyota of Scranton, a leading car dealer serving Wilkes Barre, is proud to support the youth in order to promote a positive community. Serra Degan of Wyoming Area, Jessica Purawic of West Scranton, and Brian Bridge of Berwick put their best efforts forward for the Toyota of Scranton Challenge, and all three and the other sixteen finalists deserve to be congratulated.

As one of the top car dealers serving Wilkes Barre, Toyota of Scranton partakes in many community events. The Coaches vs Cancer initiative pushes the movement for the fight against cancer, and this dealership is honored to be part of such an amazing cause.

Toyota of Scranton Challenge Gives Away a 2013 Corolla

Twenty-three students were chosen to represent their schools in the Toyota of Scranton Challenge. These students were picked on their criteria of GPA, involvement in Coaches vs. Cancer, community service activities, and other extracurricular activities.

Toyota of Scranton does not use this event to the dealerships advantage. The Pep Rally Dinner was held in association with the American Cancer Society and Coaches vs. Cancer at the Toyota of Scranton dealership, and the students were able to see the vehicle they were in the running to win.

Serra Degan, Jessica Purawic, and Brian Bridge are all in the running for the vehicle, and even though one will win, the other two will be awarded with a $1,000 college scholarship. The winners are to be announced on May 11th.
